Samsung today unveiled a new update to its Try Galaxy app. This app is one you can use on a non-Samsung phone to test what the experience of owning one would be like.

And starting today, Try Galaxy lets you test the new features of the Galaxy S23 series and Samsung’s One UI 5.1 skin on Android 13. The app is available in 14 languages, including Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, Chinese (CN /TW), English, French, French (Canadian), German, Japanese, Portuguese (BR), Spanish, Spanish (Mexican), Swedish, and Vietnamese.

The app offers tutorials and lets you try out the apps and features available on a Galaxy device, including the camera with its “truly cinematic nightscape and transformative AI for vivid, clear night shots.” You can also test out in-app editing tools like Photo Remaster.

A video within the app demonstrates how the S23 series is “redefining peak performance” and Samsung boasts that you can also immerse yourself in the “ultimate world of One UI 5.1 with wallpapers, icons, message interfaces, backgrounds and more customizable” for a mobile experience that matches your personality and style.

Samsung Electronics Vice President Sonia Chang said, “We are committed to continuing to give people who aren’t already Samsung users the opportunity to explore what’s possible with the latest and greatest Galaxy experiences.”
