ZTE’s nubia brand is preparing to launch a new flagship offering with the Z50S Pro and we now have official confirmation that the device is scheduled to launch on July 20th. The accompanying teaser posters suggest that ZTE has upgraded the 35mm prime lens used on the nubia Z50 to a 7-element lens.

A recent Geekebch listing has revealed that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with an overclocked Cortex-X3 core at 3.36GHz. The device will also carry 12GB of RAM and run Android 13 presumably with ZTE MyOS 13 on top .
An earlier listing on China’s 3C agency confirmed 80W wired charging that would match last year’s Nubia Z50. We don’t have any other specs to work on right now, so we’ll have to wait for Nubia to confirm more details in the days leading up to the launch of the 50S Pro.
