OnePlus Ace is already headed to China. The company has confirmed that the new phone will launch on April 21 and has also shared some official renderings. Now, the Ace has also made its appearance in an official live stream, offering a “real life” look at the intriguing new device.

If the live stream screenshots are to be believed, the OnePlus Ace launch event will be held at 19:00 local time on April 24th and OnePlus also appears to be running a pre-booking program of some kind, which mentions a Bluetooth speaker and a free subscription to the video platform. We can’t make out all the details, but it also looks like there may be an upfront price for pre-orders on Ace as well.
OnePlus Ace in live photos
Either way, these images show nothing on the OnePlus Ace that the official renders don’t already have. OnePlus Ace looks a lot like OnePlus 10R but is still very distinct. Its flat sides, combined with bold but still rounded edges, give it a unique look. We have already seen both color options of the device and we know that the OnePlus Ace has a USB Type-C port, as expected, a speaker from the bottom and also what looks like an IR blaster at the top. However, OnePlus’s alert slider is notably missing.
OnePlus Ace
Neither the official teaser renders nor the live stream actually showed the OnePlus Ace front and display for one reason or another. A separate leak from a while ago shows the front of a unit inside a thick case to hide its design.

As we were writing the article, however, a short video of a working OnePlus Ace also appeared online. Confirms the overall design, as well as the layout on the front.

Evidence is also mounting that the OnePlus 10R headed to India will be the same device as the OnePlus Ace or at least share most of its design ad specs, with just a few tweaks like a MAX version of the Dimensity 8100 chipset.
Speaking of leaks, an older one claims that OnePlus Ace will borrow many of its specs from the Realme GT Neo3. That means you’ll get the Dimensity 8100 SoC, 6.7-inch FullHD + 120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP main camera with OIS, and a 4,500mAh battery with 150W charging.
Dimensity 8100 chipset bit is mostly confirmed already thanks to a GeekBench leak for a OnePlus PGKM10 rumored to be OnePlus Ace.
