Tecno’s latest Pova 3 carries a large 7,000mAh battery along with a 5.9-inch 90Hz display and 50MP main camera. The phone was announced in the Philippines and is expected to hit more markets soon.
The key selling point here is the huge battery. With 7,000 mAh, Tecno is sure that you will be able to manage at least two days of use before having to recharge. The phone is also equipped with numerous battery improvements, including a power saving mode and a reverse charging function so that you can charge other devices at speeds of up to 10W. Pova 3 supports charging speeds of up to 25W although comes bundled with a 33W charger in the box.
Elsewhere, the device features a 6.9-inch LCD display with FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. There’s an 8MP selfie shooter and 50MP main cam on the back along with two auxiliary sensors. 2 MP. MediaTek’s Helio G88 sits at the helm aided by 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of expandable storage.
The phone is also equipped with stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack and FM radio receiver. The software side is covered by HiOS on Android 11.
Tecno Pova 3 is available in Electric Blue, Tech Silver and Eco Black colors. In the Philippines, the basic 4 / 64GB version is priced at PHP 8,999 ($ 172) while the 6 / 128GB model costs PHP 9,399 ($ 180).
