Motorola quietly unveiled two new members of its Moto G range: the Moto G62 with 5G capabilities and the Moto G42 with LTE technology. Both phones will soon be available in Brazil and will also launch in select markets in Europe, Latin America, Asia, India and the Middle East in the coming weeks.
Motorcycle G62 5G
The Moto G62 5G with Snapdragon 480+ features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There is a 16MP selfie cam hidden in a perforated cutout while the rear houses a 50MP main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro lens. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of memory expandable via the microSD slot.
Moto G62 5G in Graphite and Green
Moto G62 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging support. The front of the software is covered by Android 12 with the MyUX UI on top. The phone also comes with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support and a side-mounted fingerprint reader that doubles as a power button. There are two colors to choose from: Graphite and Green. Moto G42
The Moto G42 offers a 6.4-inch gOLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. It also carries a 16MP selfie cam while the rear carries a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 sits at the helm along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
Moto G42 in blue and pink
G42 also gets a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone boots Android 12 with MyUX on top. Moto G42 is available in Blue and Rose colors. Price and availability will be revealed at a later time.
