Preparation

Tips and hints
Whether you picked them up in the woods or bought them always check that they are perfect and that they do not have holes.

Freshly picked chestnuts can be frozen in special freezer bags no more than 3 months.
The already cooked fruit is from consume immediately if still hot they are certainly better, or put them in an airtight bag for no more than two days.
