The Redmi Note 13 series was recently introduced in China and the range is slowly but surely getting closer to the international launch. There’s a Redmi Note 13 Pro with 5G capability, thanks to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and now Xiaomi is preparing another phone with the same name but limited to LTE networks.

Both devices have been certified with the NBTC, Thailand’s telecommunications regulator. The certification clearly says “Redmi Note 13 Pro” and “Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G”, allowing Xiaomi to further expand its sales, regardless of connectivity.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro with LTE model number tells us nothing and we don’t know what to expect. It could be a completely new smartphone, or it could be just like the 5G variant but with a 4G-only chipset.

The Note 13 Pro in China has a 6.67-inch OLED with a resolution of 1220p and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The main camera on the back is 200 MP, while the battery is 5,100 mAh with fast charging from 67 W. Lots of exciting specs for a mid-range model that had a starting price in China under $200.
