Honor is hosting a launch party today and we will see the announcement of the Magic5 series, as well as the global debut of the foldable Magic Vs. The company is hosting the event as part of the MWC in Barcelona and will start at 13:30 CET.
The company has provided a live stream that we’ve embedded below. The broadcast will start 30 minutes earlier.
The Magic5 series is expected to bring at least two devices at launch: a vanilla Honor Magic5 and a true flagship called the Magic5 Pro. There may or may not be a Magic5 Ultimate with even more powerful cameras than the Pro, though last year’s Honor brought the Ultimate to a separate event and not to Barcelona.
We’ve already reviewed the Magic5 Lite midranger introduced earlier this month, which is an Honor X9a phone with a new name for European markets. The flagships, however, are probably true global devices for all markets in which Honor operates. We don’t know much about the specs of the upcoming phones, but we will also be following the event and reporting back once everything is announced.
