The vivo Y36 4G and Y36 5G launched in May are joined by a new member in the range, called Y36i.
The vivo Y36i is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a peak brightness of 840 nits and can go up to two nits. display also has a notch for the 5 MP selfie camera, with the main camera on the back using a 13 MP sensor, to which is added an anti-strobe sensor.
The vivo Y36i has the Dimensity 6020 SoC under the hood with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging.
The rest of the highlights of the vivo Y36i include 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Y36i vivid color options
The vivo Y36i is available in three colors and is listed on vivo’s official Chinese website at a price of CNY 1,199 ($170/€155/INR 14,080). However, its availability in other countries is yet to be confirmed.
