Last week, popularizer Digital chat station revealed that the rear panel of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature the red Leica logo. Now, we have some leaked images of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra that give us a much better look.

In a collaboration between @OnLeaks And Zoutono, the following renders show the purported design of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship phone. The renders shown confirm a previously leaked image of the 12 Ultra’s alleged camera array cutouts. Despite having eight cutouts, the 12 Ultra appears to have four rear cameras.

Previous rumors suggested that the 12 Ultra will contain the same three cameras as the Mi 11 Ultra, but given the array of cameras shown in the renders, there is a fourth camera, possibly a secondary telephoto lens.

Zoutono reports that the main camera is 50MP while the periscope and ultra wide-angle camera both use 48MP sensors. Meanwhile, the front camera is a centered selfie snapper with a 20MP sensor.

The 12 Ultra is expected to come with a large 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a curved edge, presumably with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to have a resolution of 1440 x 3200 px using an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and with HDR 10+ support. There is also talk of a dual speaker system and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

It was previously rumored that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would arrive in May, but the month has arrived and there has been no announcement of the 12 Ultra. It should be available in premium materials such as leather, glass or ceramic. There is no official release date from Xiaomi yet, but we expect confirmation soon.
