In the US the “Discover Samsung” event kicks off with discounts on most things the company offers, like $1,000 off the Odyssey Ark 55-inch gaming monitor (which still charges $2,500). However, our focus is on smartphone, tablet, and watch offerings, so here’s what Samsung has to offer. Note that this “Discover Samsung” event is the last chance to buy something and get it there before December 24th.
Let’s start with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 because this is an everyday affair and is therefore the most time sensitive. The offer is a free memory upgrade from 256GB to 512GB of storage, $150 in Samsung credit plus up to $900 in trade-in credit. With that the price can be reduced to around $900. (note: the Odyssey Ark offer is also a day deal).
Next, treat the S22 series, you have a few days to meditate on those. All three models come with free memory upgrades. Also, the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 256GB of storage is $100 off, you can double the storage to 512GB for $50 more.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ deals are similar: $50 off and you get a free upgrade to 256GB of storage. As usual, there is an option to trade in an old device and get a discount on the new one. Trade-in credit is capped at $600 for the Ultra, $500 for the Plus, and $400 for the Vanilla model (devices with cracked screens are accepted, but get a lower price).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra receives a special offer: Samsung will launch a free Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This way you don’t have to share the Tab S8 Ultra with the kids. Plus, the tablet itself is up to 24% off.
The Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ have more standard offerings. The price of the vanilla slate is discounted up to $150, that of the plus model up to $300. You can also get up to $500 in enhanced trade-in credit for both.
