Realme GT5 will arrive on August 28 and today the company revealed the design of the phone. It will have three cameras and an LED light on the back, but this time the island stretches from side to side, similar to what Google has implemented in its Pixel phones in recent generations.
The teasers also confirmed a 5,240mAh battery with 240W fast charging and a SuperVOOC S power management chip that will take care of the cell.
The design of the camera island reminded us of the Realme GT3 with the pair of circles for the cameras. However, the LED rectangle is now positioned vertically, has no sticky writing and we can only see “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2”, “SuperVOOC” and “NFC” – rather relevant features.
Realme CEO Wu Qi Chase said the new look is achieved with a “revolutionary glass technology in the mobile phone industry” and will be the best-looking smartphone in the brand’s history. The main color is called “Flowing Silver Mirror” (automatically translated) and will be a product of “hot forged glass bending” for a definitive aesthetic.

The smartphone will also be equipped with a separate display chip for optimized visual performance and higher refresh rate. It will have a 24GB RAM + 1TB storage option and will be just a warm-up for the Realme GT5 Pro, which is expected later this year to feature a third-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset from Qualcomm.
