Realme held an event today where we saw a new affordable smartphone. It was accompanied by the Buds T100, the new audio wearables in the company’s portfolio.
The TWS earbuds offer a sleek design, ergonomic design, and plenty of sound and battery life. They are also remarkably affordable, which makes them a worthy consideration.
The Realme Buds T100 have a 10mm dynamic bass driver which should make the sound a little more “stable and impressive,” according to officials. It has a PEEK + TPU composite diaphragm for deeper bass, but to get better music in your ears, there are three different EQ presets in the Realme Link app: Bright for a clearer voice, Balanced and Bass Boost + with a louder sound atmosphere.
Gems also support game mode, activated with a long press on both gems, which reduces latency by up to 88ms for a “smooth and buttery audio gaming experience”. Connectivity is stable thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 which offers not only fast and stable pairing, but also anti-jamming capability and lower power consumption.
Both earphones have a microphone designated for picking up sound, and the T100 has AI ENC noise cancellation. This is a feature that learns the surrounding sound and isolates it to make your voice clearer during phone calls. There is also a “Volume Enhancer” which increases the volume from 97 dB to 102 dB which sounds impressive but would affect the overall audio performance.

Realme revealed that each gem can last 6 hours, with both the gems and the case providing a total of 28 hours of playback. The company hasn’t disclosed the battery capacity, but we know it’s 40mAh thanks to company executives. The first two color options are Black (with yellow inside) and White. Jazz Blue and Rock Red will come at a later stage.
Realme Buds T100 cost INR1,499 (only $ 18). The first sale starts August 24 on Realme.com, Flipkart, Amazon and offline stores, and Early Birds can get a discount, lowering the price to INR1,299 (about $ 16).
