OnePlus released the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open Beta for the OnePlus 9RT a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s OnePlus 10T that is getting a taste of the Chinese phone maker’s brand new custom Android skin through the beta program, albeit only in India.
If you want to try OxygenOS 13 Open Beta on your 10T, make sure it is running OxygenOS 12 build A.08 or A.10 and has at least 30% battery and 5.5GB of free storage before installing the update .
The OxygenOS 13 Open Beta includes the Aquamorphic design and a new type of Always-On Display as well as some optimizations, improvements and new features. However, it’s worth noting that beta builds are usually not as stable as official builds and often contain bugs that hamper the user experience, so they’re best avoided on primary devices. And as for the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta for the 10T, OnePlus mentioned three known issues:
- The background is blurred on the lock screen in specific scenarios.
- The reload request on the lock screen is not displayed normally.
- The expansion function in movie mode is not displayed normally.
