In typical Google fashion, the Pixel 8a, due to launch in 2024, has now been leaked in live images, shortly after the device also appeared on Geekbench. It will be a long time before the phone launches, but the photos look authentic.

The Pixel 8a is shown in blue color and with a rear design consistent with the previous two generations of the Pixel 6 and 7. The protruding camera module is here to stay, but the front reveals a change.
The first thing to note is that the overall shape of the chassis is now more rounded, eliminating relatively sharp corners. Unfortunately the frames also seem to have been modified, now significantly thicker. Or at least that’s what we could deduce from the leaked images. It will be difficult to sell it with these bezels, even if it is a budget-oriented device.
