The Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra unveiled a couple of days ago will be launched soon in India. This revelation comes from Motorola’s Indian subsidiary, which took to Twitter to tease the debut of its latest foldable devices in the world’s second-largest smartphone market.

Motorola has yet to explicitly confirm whether it will launch both Razr 40-series smartphones in India or just one. However, the source code of the promotional page created by the brand on its Indian official website includes “MOTOROLARAZR40FAMILY”, which suggests that the company may launch both smartphones in India.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and packs a 3,800mAh battery. Its 6.9″ main display is a LTPO AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, while the 3.6″ cover screen, also of the AMOLED type, has a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,066×1,056 pixels.

The Razr 40 Ultra sports two cameras (12MP primary + 13MP ultrawide) on the front cover and one (32MP selfie) inside the center hole of the foldout screen.

The Motorola Razr 40, on the other hand, has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip at the helm and packs a 4,200mAh battery. Its foldable screen has the same diagonal and panel resolution as the Ultra model, but the refresh rate has dropped to 144Hz. The display size of the cover is also reduced to 1.5″, as is the resolution, which is 368×194 pixels. It is also worth mentioning that this is a 60Hz panel.

The Razr 40, like the Ultra model, features a 32MP selfie shooter. However, the 13MP ultrawide camera has a 120˚ FOV instead of 108˚, while the main camera uses a 64MP sensor.
