Last week Infinix announced a trio of new devices, including the Note 12. It seems this was just the beginning of a new series as an anonymous tipster sent us pictures of a new model along with some information about it.

Our source tells us that this is part of the Note series, and judging from what we know, it will be a higher-end offering over the vanilla 12, possibly a sequel to the Infinix Note 11 Pro.

You can see the 108MP label on the back, which is a nice improvement over the Note 12’s 50MP 1 / 2.8 “sensor. Also, there’s an extra camera and judging by the” 12-24mm “marking , it will be an ultra-wide module (the Vanilla Note only has an extra 2MP depth sensor.) Infinix previously used a 108MP sensor on the Zero X Pro (an ISOCELL HM2).

Either way, our tipster claims this Note model will likely be powered by the Helio G96. Compared to the G88 found within the vanilla model, this means faster CPU cores (using two A76 cores instead of two A75s), a similar Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and support for 108MP sensors.

Last year we tested an Infinix concept phone that supported 160W fast charging. However, no production Infinix has yet broken the 100W barrier, which may change with the new Note.

The USB-C port can support 120W fast charging (also note the 3.5mm headphone jack)

If our information is correct, the company has tested 120W fast charging for this model. We don’t know the battery capacity or 0-100% charging time, but it will be much faster than the regular Note 12 (which has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support).

The exact launch date is not known yet, but it should be soon enough.
