vivo introduced the X Fold last April in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and now we know that vivo X Fold2 will be launched as the world’s first foldable smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The word comes from a reliable informant Digital chat stationwho also said that the vivo X Fold2 will include a 4,800mAh battery, a 200mAh and 70mAh upgrade over the batteries in the X Fold and X Fold Plus, respectively.
The vivo X Fold2 will also support faster wired charging: 120W compared to 66W for the X Fold and 80W for the X Fold Plus.
I live X Fold
The vivo X Fold+, also exclusive to China like the X Fold, is basically the X Fold with a better SoC, faster wired charging, and an extra color option (red). It comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 80W wired charging, while the X Fold has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the helm with support for 66W charging.
