Ahead of its big MWC event, Honor has gone ahead and announced its Magic5 Lite phone in France. The phone is actually a rebranded Honor X9a for European markets.

The Honor Magic5 Lite offers a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel outputs 10-bit color, offers 1920Hz PWM dimming, and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s a small hole for the 16MP selfie cam on top.

The rear carries a substantial circular camera island with a 64MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Magic5 Lite is equipped with the Snapdragon 695 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone launches Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 and packs a 5,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging.

Honor Magic5 Lite will be available in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Titanium Silver colors. Pre-orders in France will start on February 20 with a price set at €379 for the 6/128GB version.
