A new report by Sam Mobile says Samsung’s One UI Beta 5.0 is currently being tested internally by Samsung employees. This according to the outlet’s sources.

Samsung’s One UI 5.0 is Samsung’s Android 13-based firmware. Samsung normally launches a beta program every year when a new version of Android is available. Samsung Galaxy smartphone users can test early software and provide feedback so that the final version arrives polished and ready for the public.

Just last week, Sam Mobile reported that the One UI 5.0 Beta will launch in the third week of July and the outlet remains confident on the timing of its release.

Android 13 offers more granular permissions for apps that access media storage and improvements to audio routing. We’re not sure what to expect from One UI 5.0, in particular, as it hasn’t been announced yet. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will likely be the first devices eligible for beta.
