Last week, Google launched Circle to Search for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7a family, and in the same announcement it also revealed that Circle to Search will have an instant translation feature in the future. Now it appears this is being implemented.
The translation takes place online, with the translated text entirely replacing the original, as you can see in the short video below. It’s all very simple actually, you call Circle to search in the usual way, then simply tap the new Translate icon that appears to the right of the Google bar. And voila! It’s all translated.

As usual with Google launches, it’s unclear how widespread it has become so far. To use it right away, you may need to use the latest beta version of the Google Android app, and of course, it goes without saying that you need to have one of the few phones that support Circle to Search in the first place: Google’s. Pixel from Pixel 6 onwards or one of the Samsung Galaxy S24, S23, Z Flip5 or Z Fold5 models.
If you do this and haven’t gotten the translate feature yet, be patient: Google rollouts can sometimes take weeks to finish. But the good news is that it’s now on its way.
