Google’s online store is now teasing a new launch. It’s not a new device, mind you, just a new color for the Pixel 8 Pro. It will become available on January 25 at midnight PT and will be called Minty Fresh.
It’s actually unclear whether this will be limited to just the Pixel 8 Pro (shown in the teaser), or whether it will also come to the Pixel 8. We don’t have to wait long to find out, however. .

The color is, as expected, teal/mint, some might even go so far as to call it green – or at least greenmore or less.
If you’re wondering what that word “paint” means, it’s “itsaliving,” an artist Google has a connection to for painting a mural in downtown New York on — you guessed it — January 25th. So perhaps the new shade is meant to commemorate that occasion?
In any case, the new Pixel 8 Pro should be completely identical to the one already released, with the only difference being the color. We’ll have to wait and see if this new colorway will be limited in any way: in number or availability, for example, you could only get it from the official Google store. We’ll let you know when we know more.
