We’ve already taken a first look at the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, but now we’ll focus on an unboxing and quick look at the Pixel 8 Pro alongside the Pixel 8 and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Unsurprisingly, the Pixel 8 Pro comes without a charger in the box: you get a USB-C to USB-A adapter and a USB-C cable.
We chose the color Bay – it’s a beautiful shade of blue. Pixel phones have been a breath of fresh air in terms of phone colors in recent years, and the Pixel 8 Pro is another step in the right direction.
The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro have changed a few things compared to their predecessors. First, the corners of the phones are now more rounded, making them a little smaller. The displays are flatter too – this is really noticeable on the Pro and is a welcome change for lovers of glass protection.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is noticeably lighter than its similarly sized competitors. That’s 213g compared to 221g on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and 234g on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
