Fluffy donut with Kinder chocolate

  • Flour 00: 300 g

  • Baking powder: 1 sachet
  • Seed oil: 200 ml
  • Vanillin or vanilla flavouring: 3 g

Preparation

Sift the flour with the baking powder and pour them into a bowl, mixing them together. Set the bowl aside temporarily.

Get yourself two more bowls, one of which is large. Break the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites, pouring the yolks into the large bowl.

In the other bowl with the egg whites, pour half the dose of sugar. Using an electric mixer or stand mixer, beat the egg whites and sugar until stiff.

Take back the bowl with the yolks and pour in the other half of the sugar. Mix immediately with an electric whisk until a light and frothy mixture is formed.

Add the seed oil to the bowl with the egg and sugar and mix the ingredients with a spatula to mix everything.

Also add the vanillin or, if you prefer, the vanilla flavor or natural vanilla. Add the flour a little at a time, continuing to mix with the spatula.

Also incorporate the whipped egg whites and snow, mixing gently with the spatula, making movements from the bottom up so as not to disassemble the compound.

Place the chocolate bars on a cutting board and cut them into small pieces. In the meantime, brush a 22 cm diameter donut pan with seed oil, then lightly flour it.

Pour ¾ of the mixture into the pan and level with a spatula. Try to level the dough so that it is uniform.

Arrange the pieces of kinder chocolate along the entire surface of the donut, creating two circles with at least 2 cm distance. Pour the second part of the mixture over the bars.

Turn on the oven in static mode at 180°C. Once hot, bake for 30 minutes. Once cooled, you can remove the donut from the pan, move it onto a serving plate and sprinkle it with icing sugar.

Advice and tips

Before baking the cake do the toothpick test, going to insert a long toothpick into the dough. The cake must be moist but not runny. If it is not cooked, cover the surface with a sheet of aluminum foil and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

The quantity of Kinder bars can be increased or decreased as desired. We advise you to use at least 5 bars for a good filling, but you can use even more.

You can also add 1 bar of melted milk chocolate to the mixture, so as to make a chocolate donut filled with Kinder bars, even more delicious!

This donut is ideal for disposing of leftover chocolate: you can replace Kinder chocolate with any other chocolate you have at home.

You can add a pinch of salt to the dough to enhance the flavor even more.

The Kinder Chocolate Donut can be kept for up to 3 daysunder a glass bell or in a cake container.

You can also freeze it, preferably already divided into portions, up to 1 month maximum, wrapped in transparent film.
