Today, Sony has released its latest State of Play in the world. In case you missed this showcase, we’ve rounded up all the biggest announcements you should know about it!

Deathverse: let it die

The first game we took a look at was Deathverse: Let It Die. This is a sequel to the popular online game Let It Die. In this new title, players customize their characters and then fight to the death in vast online arenas.

You can try Deathverse in Spring 2022 and it will be available for both PS4 and PS5.

We are OFK

We Are OFK is a fascinating game about an indie band coming together and trying to make it big. The preview promises adventures where players navigate everything from putting the band together to shamelessly flirting. Additionally, each episode of this game will feature interactive music videos.

Judging by the bizarre preview that teases serious games like Fallout, this game will have a very distinct sense of humor. It will launch in 2022 for PS4 and PS5.

Bugsnax: The island of Bigsnax

Bugsnax has a bit of an acquired taste (no pun intended). But fans of the game should be thrilled that a free DLC called The Isle of Bigsnax will be launched in early 2022. Whether you play this game on PS4 or PS5, this free update promises new colorful creatures, environments, and a action packed discovery expedition.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

At this point, the Five Nights At Freddy franchise is a giant behemoth that clings to life, just like Freddy Fazbear himself. But Security Breach promises some gameplay innovations, including the fact that Freddy is your ally as he tries to escape the Pizzaplex.

Freddy offers advice and directions, and you can even jump into his body to walk safely. But you’ll need stealth, wits, and a little luck to survive this title when it launches for PS4 on December 16 this year.

Gate of death

We haven’t seen much of the action RPG Death’s Door, but what we’ve seen looks intriguing. This is an action RPG where you play as an anime reaping character. But when one of those souls is stolen, you must embark on a colorful and dangerous adventure to get it back.

Players will be able to open Death’s Door on PS4 and PS5 when it launches on November 23rd.

KartRider: Drift

In all honesty, it’s hard to get excited about KartRider: Drift. While it features fun character designs and fast paced gameplay, we really can’t ignore that this is the latest in a long line of games trying to recapture the magic of Mario Kart. While the game will be free to play and have a beta this year, we don’t expect too many Mario Kart fans to abandon their Switch to play this PS4 game.

King of fighters 15

King of Fighters 15 has an extensive roster of fighters and the fast, competitive gameplay that fighting fans have come to expect. Available on both PS4 and PS5, this title will have many online combat options, including online casual matches and room matches, as well as an offline training mode.

If you are excited about this title, you don’t have to wait long. It is expected to launch on February 17, 2022, and there will be an open beta test this year.

First-class problems

First Class Trouble appears to have some fun designs and character customization options along with quirky humor. But we can’t get over the fact that this is just a 3D Among Us clone with multiple humanoid characters. Specifically, this is a “social deduction game” in which players must figure out who the evil “personoids” are before the villains wipe out the humans.

You can check this out for yourself sooner rather than later. It will be available for PS4 and PS5 and will be a free game available via PlayStation Plus from November 2nd to 6th.

Star Ocean: the divine force

“All style, no substance” is the perfect description for our preview of Star Ocean: The Divine Force. The graphics in the game look stunning and the depiction of the anime inspired characters and alien landscapes is quite memorable. But the preview itself didn’t show us much beyond characters exploring a strange new world while staying one step ahead of an evil villain.

Then again, the Star Ocean series has generally been very solid. We can’t wait to see more of this title before it launches in 2022 for both PS4 and PS5.

Little devil inside

How far can a lovely design really take you? This is what we pondered while watching the Little Devil Inside preview. The game’s chibi design and atmospheric environments really stood out from other games today. But we’ve only seen glimpses of the gameplay, which seems to focus on a combination of exploration, combat, and survival.

This title has been delayed previously and will hopefully be released in 2022. And when it finally launches for PS4 and PS5, we’ll finally see what it is.
