After Microsoft unveiled a number of AI-powered features to its Bing search engine, Google is trying to keep up and recently unveiled its own version of ChatGPT, called Bard. It wasn’t a smooth launch, but according to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, the company is making rapid improvements.

You'll soon be able to engage in conversation with Google's AI bot

For example, the search engine team is working on a conversation feature like that of ChatGPT. In an interview, Pichai clarified that people will be able to engage in conversation with a bot based on LLM (Large Language Model).

The Google boss sees this as a great opportunity rather than a threat. And given that the company holds more than 93% of the total search engine market, the upcoming feature will likely have a bigger impact than the ChatGPT + Bing combination. In the event that, of course, it is done correctly. However, Sundar Pichai did not provide any time frame, but we suspect it won’t be long as the company is short on time.
