Xiaomi will announce the Redmi K60 range on December 27 in China. The brand confirmed the date on Weibo and also revealed that the new series will not include a Gaming version.
The series will include a K60 phone with triple cameras on the back, including a periscope shooter, which will be a first for the Redmi brand.
In a series of teasers on Redmi’s Weibo page, the sub-brand said the performance of its flagship smartphone is now good enough for mobile gaming and a dedicated version is not needed.

There are four days left until the event where we hope to learn more details and specs via official teasers. Brand manager William Lu has revealed that one of the phones, likely the vanilla Redmi K60, will have a Dimensity 8200 chipset.
Rumors suggested a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset for the Redmi K60 Pro, but we have to wait until Tuesday for the official confirmation.
