Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro were announced last week in China, and today there was the first flash sale of the flagships. As is normal with those, all the units disappeared almost instantly. It took four hours before the allocated stocks were sold out and in the first five minutes of sales there were six times more orders than at the market launch of the Xiaomi 13, the company said.
However, Xiaomi did not reveal the exact quantity of units sold, which means we couldn’t know how much it earned during this first flash sale.
Xiaomi 14 series
These are the first phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. They also run HyperOS, the company’s new operating system intended to replace MIUI and extend across all devices, including cars, TVs, and wearables.
The Xiaomi 14 starts at CNY 3,999 (around $550) and brings a 6.36-inch OLED, three 50MP cameras, and 90W fast charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro costs CNY 4,999 (nearly $700) with a larger screen , a higher resolution and faster 120W charging for a slightly larger battery.
The phones are expected to make their international debut in the first few weeks of January 2024.
