Xiaomi anticipated the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India earlier this month and today the company announced that the smartphone will debut in India on April 27.
Xiaomi 12 Pro was unveiled in December and began its global journey last month. It is built around a 6.73 “120 Hz AMOLED QHD + LTPO screen with a fingerprint reader underneath and a hole in the center for the 32 MP selfie camera. On the back, we find a rectangular island that houses three cameras: 50 Primary MP, 50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP telephoto.
Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, runs Android 13-based MIUI 13 out of the box, and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. However, it is unclear which memory combinations the smartphone will be available in India.
Powering the entire package is a 4,600 mAh battery with 120 W wired charging, 50 W wireless charging and support for 10 W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone is offered in Blue, Purple and Gray colors, but we don’t know if all of these will be available in India.
The Xiaomi 12 range also includes the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X, but they are unlikely to launch in India on April 27 alongside the Pro version as Xiaomi has not used the word “series” in its promotional campaigns.
