vivo launched the Y02s in August and now the company has unveiled the vanilla model, dubbed the vivo Y02.
The vivo Y02 is powered by an unknown octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 Go Edition and has 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
The vivo Y02 is built around a 6.51″ HD+ LCD with a notch for the 5MP selfie camera. On the back, you get a single 8MP main camera joined by an LED flash. The Y02 has a 8.49mm thick and has a flat 2.5D bezel with a matte finish that vivo says is resistant to scratches and fingerprints.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that charges via a microUSB port at up to 10W. It also has a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack but doesn’t come with a fingerprint reader, so you’ll need to use the unlock feature facial for unlocking your smartphone without a password.
The vivo Y02 is available in Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue colors. It is priced at IDR 1,499,000 ($95/€90) and is available for purchase in Indonesia through online retailer Shopee. The Y02 will also be sold via Tokopedia and vivo’s Indonesian official website, but nothing is known about its availability in other markets.
