THE Visualization Once for voice messages, which should have been called Hear Once, works the same as for photos and videos. An audio message sent to the recipient can no longer be listened to by the recipient after it has been opened or saved on their phone. Also, the sender cannot listen to it after sending.

How to send View Once voice messages on WhatsApp?

  • Open an individual or group chat.
  • Tap the microphone.
  • Swipe up to stop recording.
  • Tap and hold Record.
  • Tap the View Once icon (when it turns green, you’re in View Once mode).
  • Tap the Send button.

WhatsApp says that for consistency with View Once photos and videos, View Once voice messages are also marked with the “one-off” icon. They are also end-to-end encrypted by default.

View Once voicemails will begin rolling out globally in the next few days.
