It’s taken a while, but Honor’s almost impossibly thin Magic V2 is finally available outside of China. From today Europeans can order by telephone.
You get a nice retail box with the Magic V2. All accessories are shipped in small independent boxes inside the larger phone box.
Included with the Honor Magic V2 is a 66W charger, a USB cable, a back panel phone case, and a SIM ejector tool. The case also has a practical and sturdy kickstand.
A nice set of accessories
However, the most impressive thing about the Honor Magic V2 remains its weight and size. This is a 231g phone, about the same as a Galaxy S24 Ultra, despite the huge 7.92-inch internal screen. The foldable body remains as impressive now as it was 6 months ago when we first saw it.
Inside there is an AMOLED LTPO panel with a capacity of 120 Hz with a resolution of 2156×2344 px. On the outside there is a 6.43-inch LTPO 120Hz OLED with 1060x2376px resolution.
Two quality displays
Initially launched in July, the Honor Magic V2 features a 2023-level Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but since other foldables have yet to get the 2024 version, it’s actually not at a disadvantage.
The 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM are first-in-class, while the 5,000mAh battery is significantly larger than that offered by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. There is a triple camera with 50MP wide angle, 20MP 62mm telephoto and 50MP 13mm ultrawide AF unit.
