The Poco F5, which was rumored to launch on April 6, will launch on May 9. This revelation comes from Poco, who also confirmed that the Poco F5 Pro will be presented on the same date.

Poco is yet to detail the F5 and F5 Pro specsheets, but Qualcomm’s Indian branch has confirmed that the Poco F5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, making it the first smartphone in India to have this chip at the helm.

Today, Poco’s Indian division gave us a glimpse of the Poco F5’s design, confirming that it features triple rear cameras.

However, the company has not mentioned the Poco F5 Pro in any of its promotional campaigns, suggesting that it will only launch the vanilla model in India on May 9, with the Pro version arriving later.

The Poco F5 is said to be a version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, while the Poco F5 Pro is said to be a rebadged Redmi K60. The former is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, while the latter has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip at the helm.
