Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series has been leaking a lot lately which naturally leads us to think that the official reveal is just around the corner. And today that’s exactly what seems to have been confirmed.
According to not one, but two generally reliable whistleblowers/leaksters, the Galaxy S23 family unveiling will take place on February 1st. Eight days before the introduction of last year’s S22 models, and both Ice Universe and @OnLeaks agree on the date. While this obviously doesn’t serve as official confirmation, if it’s accurate, we expect Samsung to release official invites for the event in the coming days or weeks, and we’ll let you know when that happens.

The Galaxy S23 was recently spotted on Geekbench yet again. All S23 devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a notable change for people living in markets where only Exynos models were previously sold. In fact, Europe may even get an exclusive, slightly overclocked version of the chipset, if past rumors and leaks are true.
