Honor has released a teaser on its Weibo page, announcing the launch of a new smartphone. The Honor 80 GT, certified last week by 3C in China, will be officially presented next Monday, December 26th.
The phone will share the stage with a new Honor Pad pictured in a second teaser. There’s no word on the actual slate, but it will support an Honor stylus and an LED flash for the sole camera on the back.
Honor V8 Pro and Honor 80 GT teasers
The Honor 80 GT will be the fourth 80-series phone unveiled just last month. It will have three cameras, aligned vertically, but unlike the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, the island doesn’t appear to be stylized with the number 8 (which could also be interpreted as the infinity sign).
The camera design and placement of the volume rocker suggest that the upcoming Honor Pad is completely new. Rumors suggest it could be called the Honor V8 Pro and we expect to hear more from the official teasers in the seven days leading up to the event.
