Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4.1.1 update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. It is currently being seeded only in the US for locked drives on the networks of Verizon, Comcast and Xfinity Mobile, but the rollout is expected to expand to other regions soon.

The update comes with the firmware version S90xUSQU2AVHB, and if you haven’t received it yet, you can access your phone Settings > Software update menu to check it manually.

The One UI 4.1.1 update is based on Android 12 and does not bring Android 13 into the S22 trio. This will happen with One UI 5. Also, you don’t get the September 2022 Android security patch with the new build. However, what you get with One UI 4.1.1 are improvements to Private Share and Smart View.

Private sharing now allows you to change file names once shared via private share. Smart View, on the other hand, now comes with the improved Multi View feature that suits your everyday usage style. Show more options, including Full Screen and Picture-in-picture.
