We spotted the Poco F5 Pro on Geekbench last week and now a new phone made by Xiaomi has appeared, which is believed to be the vanilla Poco F5. The device with model number 23049PCD8G runs Android 13 on a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset with 12GB of RAM.

Poco F5 appears on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM

These specifications of the Poco F5 are suspiciously similar to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is currently only available in China. It wouldn’t be surprising if the two end up being identical, meaning we should expect the Poco F5 to have a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging and MIUI 14 in addition to Android OS. Other specifications are expected to include a 6.67-inch AMOLED and a 64MP main camera.

The Poco F series is the most powerful range in the brand’s portfolio. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset might seem like a downgrade from the Snapdragon 870 on the Poco F4, but in reality, the new Qualcomm platform offers better battery efficiency and improved performance.
