A DualSense V2 controller from Sony has just appeared on Best Buy’s official Canadian branch with product images and specs. And while the images don’t reveal any changes in design, the specs show a huge improvement in battery life.

According to the listed specs, the DualSense V2 has 12 hours of battery life, compared to the 5-hour battery life of current-generation DualSense controllers.

The rest of the features remain unchanged: built-in microphone, touch triggers, headphone jack, touchpad, everything else. The price of the controller is 90 CAD, which is about $67, just like the current controller.

It looks like Best Buy has stepped it up a notch, so we may still have a long way to go before we can actually buy the updated controllers, but it can’t be that long now.

Let's talk about "The leaked Sony DualSense V2 controller has more than double the battery life" with our community!
