Huawei unveiled two new members of its nova series with the nova 10 and nova 10 Pro smartphones. The pair share similar specs including 120Hz OLED screens, Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset, and 60MP selfie cameras. Next to them Huawei has announced its own NFC tracker nicknamed Huawei Tag.

The Huawei nova 10 offers a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is a single hole punched here for the 60MP selfie camera. The nova 10 Pro model boasts a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel with the same resolution and refresh rate. The Pro model also adds a second selfie camera ahead of time: an 8MP portrait lens.

The rear camera setup on both phones is identical to a 50MP main camera with f / 1.9 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide module with f / 2.2 aperture. The third sensor is a 2MP depth of field module. Both phones come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 4G with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The front of the software is covered by HarmonyOS 2.

The Huawei nova 10 boasts a 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired charging support, while the nova 10 Pro packs a larger 4,500mAh cell with 100W wired charging.

Both Huawei nova 10 models are available in black, silver, green and purple colors. Huawei nova 10 starts at CNY 2,699 ($ ​​403) for the 128GB version while the 256GB model costs CNY 2,999 ($ ​​448). Huawei nova 10 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 ($ ​​553) for the 128GB version and goes up to CNY 3,999 ($ ​​598) for the 256GB model. Pre-orders in China are already underway while the official announcement of sales is scheduled for 8 July.

Huawei Tag is the company’s version of an NFC smart tracker. It can only be paired with a Harmony OS 2.0 device and relies on Huawei’s ‘Find’ network for object tracking. Huawei is also introducing encrypted location reporting. The tracker also has a speaker that can play sounds up to 92 dB when searching for your items.

Huawei Tag weighs only 6 grams and is only 5.6 mm thick. It is IP67 water and dust resistant and runs on a single CR2032 button battery with a rated life of over a year. The Huawei Tag comes in a single white color and retails CNY 99 ($ ​​15) for a single unit. You can also get a pack of four for CNY 299 ($ ​​45). Open sales begin on July 30th.
