We’re back with another exclusive look at the upcoming Amazfit Falcon aka Amazfit Vienna smartwatch. This time around we have two product videos showing the key feature of Amazfit’s premium GPS watch. This is expected to launch soon and will be a step above the Amazfit T-Rex 2 as the brand’s premium rugged watch.
The first clip is an unboxing video that shows us the packaging and key contents of the smartwatch. Opening the lid of the box reveals a box with the manual, warranty and charging cable hidden while the watch is under them. We also have a quick tour of the Zepp OS on the watch and a side profile shot before the video ends.
The second video highlights the watch’s main health monitoring specs, including Zepp Coach guided workouts, the ability to connect to external health devices such as a heart rate monitor, training templates, and the ability to sync with third-party services. parties like Strava and Adidas Running.
We have a tour of the over 150 built-in sport modes, dual-band GPS connectivity with real-time navigation and route import functionality, as well as the ability to monitor ride modes and intelligent trajectory correction. The watch will also hold up to 4GB of local music and play your tunes on a connected Bluetooth headset. It features 24/7 heart rate, SpO2 and stress monitoring, and a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge.
Based on our previous leak, Amazfit Falcon will carry a 1.28-inch AMOLED display with 416x416px resolution and 1000 nit peak brightness, as well as the same health and sport monitoring capabilities as the T-Rex Pro 2. The watch will boot the Zepp OS and also boast a waterproof rating of 20 ATM which is great for swimming, high impact water sports and scuba diving. Other specs include 32MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity, and a 500mAh battery rated for 14 days of use.
Amazfit Falcon is expected to launch next week, on October 13th.
