The Honor X40i arrived in mid-July and we will receive the rest of the series next week. The company has scheduled an official announcement for September 15.
The event will celebrate nine years of Honor X smartphones and will see the official debut of the Honor X40.
The Honor X40 teaser
Speculation in China also suggests that we will see a larger phone called the Honor X40 Max. We don’t have much information on these devices, but we have to mention that the menacing circle at dawn above the water on the poster looks suspiciously like the ring you stands atop a mountain in the Huawei Mate 50 teaser.
We don’t expect to see the same phones, although the design may be similar with a circular camera island and four shooters, lined up in a square formation. There are nine days left until the event where it is likely that we will know more through the official teasers on the Weibo company page.
