Xiaomi is already clearing legal hurdles before launching its 14 series, and the Pro member of the range has just achieved 3C certification. The smartphone with model number 23116PN5BC will support 120W wired charging, just like two of its predecessors.

Appearing on 3C (China Compulsory Certification) means that the phone has passed mandatory testing and has taken another step towards market availability.

Xiaomi 14 Pro certified with 120W fast charging

We have already learned that the Xiaomi 14 will come with 90W charging, which is an upgrade over the 13 series, but the manufacturer apparently agrees to stick with 120W for the Pro variant.

The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to arrive in November, just days after Qualcomm announced its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, scheduled for October 24. On November 11th a big shopping holiday is celebrated in China, called Singles’ Day and Xiaomi will be trying to have its flagships ready in time.

Xiaomi is likely to jump on the bandwagon and introduce its flagship right at the time when local consumers are in spending mode, although an international launch may take some time. The previous series needed over 2 months to go from local to global and we expect the same development with the 14 lineup.
