Honor will launch its new foldable Magic V2 on Wednesday, July 12, and a company executive has shared the first official samples of the camera. The images reveal that the primary shooter will have a 25mm equivalent lens with an f/1.9 aperture.
The smartphone is also expected to be extremely light and thin, according to the teasers, beating the 240 grams of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The photos are from Beijing during sunset, according to Honor’s product line president. However, judging image quality based on photos posted on social media isn’t a good idea, so we’ll wait to do our own tests before drawing any conclusions.
Honor Magic V2 Teaser
Honor boldly confronts an Apple bar phone, which presumably means it has left the Huawei Mate X3 in its rearview mirror. That one weighs 239 grams and measures 5.3mm at the base when open. Next Wednesday we will find out how big the step forward made by Honor was.
