Tecno has quietly announced the Spark 20C, its latest entry-level offering. The company has however managed to spice it up with a couple of interesting features, including a large battery and a 50MP main camera.
The Spark 20C has a 6.6” LCD with 720p resolution and also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The entire laptop is 8.75mm thin, with flat sides.
Tecno didn’t reveal the exact chipset but said there’s an octa-core CPU with a 2.2GHz Cortex-A53 unit, which looks like a Mediatek Helio G36 platform used for LTE-only phones. The phone comes with 128GB of storage, expandable via a microSD slot. RAM has two options: 4GB or 8GB.
The 50MP primary camera on the back sits next to the secondary shooter on the square island. It’s labeled “AI Cam” and most likely does little to improve real shots. The selfie camera has an 8MP sensor and is housed inside a punch-hole.
The Tecno Spark 20C boots Android 13 with Tecno’s custom UI on top. The 5,000mAh battery supports 18W charging and the phone has Dynamic Island-style animation around the selfie camera, which acts as a notification bar when the phone is connected.
Other notable specs include an FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port on the bottom, dual speakers, and a fingerprint scanner on the side.

Tecno Spark 20C is available in Gravity Black, Mystery White and Alpenglow Gold. There is also a paint job called “Magic Skin” which is green in color and is a 100% recycled plastic panel with zero harmful substances.
Pricing or availability information is not currently available. According to some reports, we expect the device to start at $130.
