Amazon’s Prime Day is in full swing in the UK, Europe and the US, and we’ve rounded up some worthy laptop deals from the US.

Starting with Asus, for the same price you could get the excellent 16-inch creator laptop VivoBook Pro 16 with an RTX 4060 or the dual-screen ZenBook Pro Duo 15 with two OLED displays.

MSI’s gaming picks include the 15.6-inch 144Hz-capable GF63 Thin display with RTX 4050 graphics and the 17.3-inch 240Hz-capable Stealth 17 Studio with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and Nvidia’s RTX4080 graphics.

Acer has two really affordable choices for gamers: the Nitro 5 and Swift X, both of which come with an RTX 3050 – Ti on the 14-inch Swift X and regular on the 15.6-inch Nitro 5 at 144Hz.

Samsung and LG have tempting models in the thin and light range. Samsung Galaxy Book3 and Book3 Pro are both OLED and integrate 13th generation Intel processors, while LG gram 16 and gram 17 are both very light and feature-rich. The Galaxy Book3 stands out the most here with a sub-$800 price tag for an OLED screen and the latest Intel processor.

Finally, an entry-level gamer from Lenovo: the IdeaPad Gaming 3 packs a 15.6-inch 120Hz display and RTX 3050 graphics for $600.

Apple is particularly stingy in the US on Prime Day. Cupertino doesn’t participate in Amazon’s Prime Day deals, but there may have been at least one reasonable discount on recent MacBooks. But there isn’t: Apple wants you to go further and buy its laptops from its website.
