This is the vivo V30, one of the first Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 phones around and vivo’s latest sleek V series.

It comes with a USB cable, a case, and one of the biggest chargers we’ve ever seen. It justifies its size with a peak power of 80W, so we’ll let it slide.

The V30 lives up to vivo’s high standards in terms of design and build quality. In a world that increasingly shifts towards a flat and matte appearance, the vivo V30 is slim and very curvy.

The Aqua model we tested has a fluid texture under the rear glass that resembles the ripples of moving water. The blue tone of the rear panel is quite discreet.

There are only two cameras on the back of the vivo V30: a 50 MP f/1.9 wide-angle and a 50 MP f/2.0 ultrawide with autofocus. There is a 2x mode in the camera’s viewfinder, but those photos are cropped by the main camera.

At the front, the vivo V30 packs a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a resolution of 1260x2800px.

The vivo V30 runs Android 14 plus vivo’s Funtouch OS 14. The unit we have has 12GB of RAM (with the option to add another 12GB virtual) and 512GB of storage. Finally, inside there is a 5,000 mAh battery.
