A phone has been on everyone’s mind these days as it prepares to make its official debut. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will break with tradition and become more than just an iPhone Pro: the periscope telephoto lens will make it a considerably more exciting cameraphone than its siblings in the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup.
And with Apple’s next flagship topping our week 36 chart, it was Huawei’s just-announced Mate 60 Pro+ that took second place. The most popular phone in our database for 2023: The Samsung Galaxy A54 is on the podium with three different manufacturers.
Last week’s leader, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, has now fallen to fourth place, just ahead of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which slips to fifth place.
We then have Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 in sixth and seventh place, overtaking another alleged phone. However, this is not another member of the Apple iPhone 15 range, but rather the Pixel 8 Pro, which in usual Google fashion is leaking with such intensity that we know most of its details well before its announcement.
The Redmi 12 placed ninth, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max is in tenth and makes the entire edition of the ranking a sandwich to the iPhone Pro Max.
This means we lose the Sony Xperia 5 V and the Galaxy A34 and A14 pair. We’re expecting more new faces next week as Apple holds its Wunderlust event on Tuesday, so it’ll be interesting to see which current members survive the onslaught.
I’ll see you next week!
