The Samsung Galaxy M34 is set to launch later this week (Friday) and we already know some of the key specs thanks to this page on Amazon India. One thing you won’t find on that page (yet!) is the price, but leakster Yogesh Brar claims he knows.

According to the leakster, the M34 will be priced between ₹18 to 19,000. For reference, the Galaxy M33 cost ₹18,000 for a 6/128GB phone when it arrived in April last year.

Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 has a different display (6.46-inch AMOLED vs 6.6-inch LCD, both 120Hz FHD+), both use the Exynos 1280 chipset, both have 50MP cameras (the M34 supports OIS) and both have 6,000mAh batteries. With that, the same price should come as no surprise.

The Galaxy A34 is considerably more expensive, however, at ₹31,000 for the base 8/128GB variant. The A-series model will get better software support and a slightly larger 6.6-inch AMOLED screen but with a smaller 5,000mAh battery, aside from the fact that the two phones aren’t too different either.

The ₹20,000 price range includes competitors from other brands, phones like OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, iQOO Z7s, Realme Narzo 50 Pro, Redmi Note 12 (5G) and others.
