Today at an event in Prague, Oppo unveiled the Reno7 Lite 5G for Central and Eastern European markets. Although rumored, this device has not previously been launched elsewhere. Don’t be fooled though, as we’ve seen it before, albeit under a different name. It turns out that the Reno7 Lite 5G is actually just a Reno7 Z 5G by another name.

Therefore, it sports the same specs. You get a 6.43-inch 1080×2400 OLED screen, a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, a 16MP selfie snapper, the Snapdragon SoC 695 at the helm, 8GB of storage, 128GB of expandable memory and a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It works with ColorOS 12 and will be available in two color versions: Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black.

The former uses a two-layer coating with a base layer containing an indium reflective coating and a top color gradient coating consisting of red, yellow and green, for a rainbow shimmer effect true to the variant’s name. There are six colors running through the back of the smartphone, and that’s for sure.

The Reno7 Lite 5G also has Dual Orbit Lights, which are integrated behind the two main cameras, which light up or flash in a variety of colors depending on the different scenarios. The phone is very thin at 7.5mm and weighs just 173g.

Reno7 Lite 5G will soon be available in Central and Eastern Europe, with prices to be announced on a country-by-country basis.
