Apple today rolled out iOS 17.1.1, iPadOS 17.1.1, and watchOS 10.1.1 to compatible devices. As the small increments imply, these aren’t big updates that bring with them new features. Instead, they fix some annoying and glaring bugs that have popped up recently.

iOS 17.1.1 fixes incorrect display of snow in the Weather widget on the lock screen, but also, perhaps more importantly for some people, issues with Apple Pay and other NFC features becoming unavailable on all iPhone 15″ models after wireless charging in some cars,” according to Apple.

The cars in question? BMW. This seems like a total hassle, so be sure to update as soon as possible if you’ve been affected. Users have also reported various issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and devices turning off, but it’s unclear whether this update will fix these issues as well, as Apple’s changelog doesn’t mention them.

watchOS 10.1.1 aims to fix an issue that could cause rapid battery drain for some Apple Watch users. Other “important bug fixes” are also included, which are not checked. So, if you feel like your Apple Watch isn’t lasting as long with watchOS 10.1 as it used to, make sure to update it to the latest version as soon as possible.
